The International Conference on Engineering Education invites you to participate in the workshop Strategic International Collaboration Partnerships to be held on August 18, 2002. The purpose of this workshop is to foster the development of international partnerships in education, research and outreach. The workshop will provide ample opportunity for discussing future cooperative projects. It includes threes elements:

1. A poster session to share success stories in Strategic International Collaboration Partnerships in Education, Research and Outreach.
   
   
2. Concurrent input-output network sessions to identify possible International Partnerships in Strategic Areas.
   
   
3. A plenary session to inform the results of the concurrent sessions.

The organizing committee of this workshop invites you to submit:

1. A proposal to present a poster on current initiatives in your institution related to collaborations in strategic areas such as the following: Engineering Education Accreditation, Regional Economic Development, Ethics, Environmental Education, Faculty Development and Information Technologies.
   
   
2. An area of interest for the input-output network sessions on collaborations in strategic areas such as the following: Engineering Education Accreditation, Regional Economic Development, Ethics, Environmental Education, Faculty Development and Information Technologies where you want to participate. The idea is to organize the participants in teams to discuss and propose partnerships for collaborations.
   
   
3. Your name to chair one of the concurrent sessions to identify possible International Collaboration Partnerships. Dr. Luiz Scavarda is proposed to chair the group that will propose partnerships to develop collaborations in Ethics.
