Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce the first major
conference in 2013 sponsored by iNEER
(please click). The 2013 International Conference on Engineering Education and
Research, iCEER-2013
(click), next in line in the longest running conference series sponsored by iNEER, will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco during July 1
– 5, 2013. This conference continues the annual ICEE and iCEER
conference series sponsored around the world since 1994 by iNEER
(now with 40,000 members in 98 countries). Following highly successful recent iNEER events held in Belfast, Northern
Ireland, Saratov,
Russia (click) and Turku,
Finland (click), the iNEER
community will meet for the first time in the African continent in 2013.
Serving as Honorary Chairs of iCEER-2013 are Dr. Redouane Mrabet, President, Université Mohamed V Soussi
(Morocco); Dr. Ahmed Lebrihi, President, Université Moulay Ismail, Meknès (Morocco); Dr. Essaaidi
Mohammed, Head of École Nationale
Supérieure d’Informatique
et d’Analyse de Systèmes
(ENSIAS) (Morocco); and Dr. Abdelali Ider, Dean, Faculté des Sciences
et Techniques de Settat (Morocco). General Chairs of
the conference are Prof. Hamadou Saliah-Hassane
of TELUQ, Université du Quebec, Canada, and Prof.
Amine Berqia of École Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique et d’Analyse de Systèmes (ENSIAS), Morocco and University of Algarve in
Portugal.
As stated in the iCEER-2013 website: “the general
theme of iCEER 2013 will be: Borderless Global
Engineering Education, Research and Industrial Development. iCEER 2013 main objective is to bring together
researchers, academics, industrial partners, policy makers and experts in the
field of Innovative and Technology Enhanced Engineering and Vocational
Education. The conference activities, including technical and social ones, will
be an opportunity to develop profitable collaborations and partnerships between
all the participants. The duration of the conference will be four days.
The scientific program will include: High Quality Keynote Speakers, Oral
presentations, Demonstrations of technology based training material and
Posters.”
