CALL FOR PAPERS

Innovative Programs for Communication Engineering Education

Courses, Laboratories, Training Programs, and International Collaboration

Communication industry in the world has been growing fast and urgently needs large number of high quality engineers. To provide enough quantity and well-qualified students and engineers for communication industries, innovative programs on communication engineering education are required. The goal of this call for papers is to put us together to exchange and share creative experiences on communication engineering education. Through experiences sharing and accumulating, high quality of engineering education in communication can be accomplished.

“Communication” covers not only a wide spectrum of but also fast changing subjects. The area of communication includes optical communications systems, network applications and services, communication devices, broadband Internet, wireless networks, and others. Innovation means new concept, new trials, and new experiences that are helpful for improving education quality as well as speeding up training cycles. Topics of interest include but are not limit to up-to-date courses design, multimedia and electrical types of teaching materials, on-line learning/training via wired/wireless networks, establishment of communication laboratories, on-line communication laboratories, advances in wireless communication education. Innovative programs on international collaboration, industrial engineers’ training, teachers’ re-trainings, collaboration between universities and industries are particularly encouraged.
